Invited is seeking a Payroll Specialist who would be responsible for providing payroll support which includes maintaining, preparing, and distributing a variety of payroll records and reports in our Dallas Shared Services location.  Reporting to the Sr. Director of Payroll, you will work closely with our internal and external partners by responding to inbound inquiries and may work on special projects as necessary. We are looking for someone who can jump right in and join a collaborative group of individuals, adding value to the team starting on your first day. This is a hybrid role that requires on-site presence at our Dallas, Texas office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as a subject matter expert on payroll.
  • Handling employee and business partner inquires (HR, Finance, Tax); identifies issues and proactively resolves problems or refers to leadership as appropriate.
  • Acts as a liaison between our current payroll vendor (ADP), HR, and business partners.
  • Analyze and process off-cycle pay, special payments, adjustments, and reversals.
  • Proactively ensure all errors and issues are being resolved in a timely manner.
  • Keeps current on payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data.
  • Assists with fiscal year end reporting and W-2 reconciliation.
  • Processes biweekly payroll for Big Shots Golf (BSG) with accuracy which includes tips.
  • Researches, evaluates, and compiles information and data and prepares detailed summaries, reports, presentations, and general and technical correspondence.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and responding to employee/payroll inquires for our entertainment business, Big Shots Golf (BSG)

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to address change and wide variety of work assignments and information received to effectively perform the job requirements.
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple systems, ADP eTime, vPay, Oracle Fusion preferred.
  • Experience Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, as well as interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to multi-task, willingness to learn new skills and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team-oriented setting.
