Line Cook

The Cook is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of culinary services for our Members and Guests. They support a la carte and private event food production while maintaining consistent food preparation and plate presentation. The Cook also helps to ensure the safety of fellow Employee Partners.

Compensation: $18 to $30 depending on experience


  • Maintains clean and safe work environment.
  • Assists the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with any tasks requested.
  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
  • Assist fellow Employee Partners. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team.
  • Because of the fluctuating demands of the Clubs operation, it may be necessary that each Employee perform a multitude of different functions therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employees are expected to help you.
  • Adhere to all of the various company, club and department written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc.
  • Be able to work at an efficient pace to keep up with business needs.
  • Be able to follow instructions.
  • Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits while in all areas and assuring others are acting safely.
  • Attendance at daily line-up and participating as requested.
  • Wearing a clean and neat uniform that follows ClubCorp and your property uniform standards daily.

Job Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Cook required.
  • Working knowledge of broiler, pantry and sauté stations.
  • Previous Country Club experience a plus
  • Required long periods of time on your feet
