ROLE DESCRIPTION

Our Groundskeepers drive an amazing Guest experience in the venue as they deliver an over-the-top golf experience by keeping the driving range, greens, golf balls, and grounds perfectly manicured creating unexpected memories. This position offers opportunities for one to connect with Guests and provide an unforgettable golf experience as they celebrate unforgettable moments. Knowledge of lawncare, equipment operation, ability to move quickly, attention to detail regarding upkeep of the facility, and communication with Members of management, and Team Members imperative to success in this position.

The Groundskeeper is responsible for keeping BigShots perfectly manicured and upkept. This includes, but is not limited to, overtly friendly greetings and interactions, speedy mowing and trimming, collecting, cleaning and delivering golf balls, Guest safety, and support of the Golf Pro.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge of mowing and golf equipment
• Provide over-the-top cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds
• Deliver clean golf balls to the range
• Positively connect with Managers, Team Members, and Guests
• Demonstrate the core values of Always Bring the Fun, Be Bold Everyday, Live & Breathe Gratitude, Serve Our Community, Keep the Grit, and Include Everyone
• Maintain operating standards, including safety and maintenance of equipment
• Support the Golf Pro when needed

RELATIONSHIPS

The Groundskeeper will work under the Golf Pro, guided by the Manifesto and Core Values. There is a need for excellent communication and the continued maintenance of relationships with all Managers, Team Members, and Guests.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience with landscaping or golf course maintenance a plus
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management, organization, and follow-through
• Self-motivated with high self-awareness and integrity
• Ability to multi-task
• Openly receives feedback and coaching, and reacts accordingly
• Availability to work varied shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Ability to carry 50 for extended periods of time
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment for long periods of time
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, including up and down stairs
• Ability to obtain required local, state, and federal licenses and/or certificates for your business location

COMPENSATION

BigShots Golf will provide the following:

• Salary Base: $11.00-$14.00/hr. (based on experience)
