Invited is seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our fleet of over 30,000 golf carts and turf maintenance equipment. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in good condition, properly maintained, and used efficiently to meet the needs of the business. The Fleet Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure that the fleet is fully utilized, meets safety standards, and is cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures
- Create and maintain an inventory of all fleet assets, including golf carts and turf equipment
- Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance program to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are maintained in good working order
- Develop and maintain a fleet replacement plan to ensure that vehicles and equipment are replaced as needed
- Determine the life cycle and refurbishment cycles for different equipment types, in order to maximize the use of existing assets and minimize replacement costs
- Analyzing data on equipment usage, maintenance costs, and repair histories, as well as staying up-to-date on industry trends and technology advancements that could impact the lifespan of the fleet assets.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of fleet assets, including coordinating with vendors and mechanics
- Ensure that all vehicles and equipment meet safety and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related expenses and ensure that expenses are within budget
- Analyze data to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Provide regular reports to senior management on fleet performance and expenses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in fleet management or a related field
- Knowledge of fleet management software and systems
- Advanced skills in Excel and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards
- Valid driver's license
