Job Summary

We seek to hire a Director of National Tournament Sales in Dallas, Texas. This position supports the Golf & Country Club Division.  The Director is accountable for attaining the company's entire tournament and outings revenue budget. The focus areas include product and pricing strategies, prospecting, selling, and lead generation. This individual is responsible for growing the tournament sales across the organization and collaborating with the General Managers and other Department Heads.

Day to Day:

  • Sell Tournaments on the National level, ensuring the Club's tournament revenue budgets are exceeded
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies and offerings to attract more consumers and increase sales
  • Create lead generation, renewal, and marketing strategies on a national, regional, and club-level basis
  • Build an environment that leverages team synergies and produces a proactive people first culture
  • Lead the sales training for club-level sellers and the operations team to improve overall financial performance
  • Provide feedback, analysis, and recommendations on current and future business operations with tournaments, sales goals/trends, training, development, and KPI targets.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Golf sales/events/tournaments experience required
  • Passionate about Golf
  • Ability to inspire sales personnel and create a team sales culture
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong technical literacy, including CRM and Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
  • Strategic thinker and ability to analyze trends
  • Intense creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Passion for providing high-quality Member service and commitment to exceeding expectations
  • Able to plan, strategize and sell at both national and operational levels
  • Up to 50% of travel

Compensation:

  • Up to $100k Base salary (Commensurate with experience) + Bonus & Commissions and other perks
